When gathering information for this page the children interviewed people from Vietnam, teachers that had travelled to Vietnam, and found information in resources in the school library. They also interviewed Chris Banks at Melbourne Zoo and e-mailed Vo Dinh Son at Saigon Zoo.
The photos included were taken by their teacher Mrs. K Colla and the librarian Mrs. M Catterall on St Monica's study tour of Vietnam 1999, and Asia Education Foundation In Country Fellowship in 1996.
